The Sony Playstation 3 is out now, it went on sale in mid-November 2006 when around the nation, there were stampedes, even one shooting, in an effort to get the new Playstation 3 that went on sale at midnight. However, not everyone is buying the PS3 to play games, some are looking to make a profit.



The Playstation 3 is still a hard-to-find item. Most retailers are sold out and will be sold out through much of the upcoming holiday season. Many people are looking to this as an opportunity to make some quick money. If they can get their hands on a Play Station 3, they can then sell it on eBay, or even locally. The Playstation 3 generally sells for about $600 in the stores. On eBay we found prices for the Playstation 3 selling for anywhere from $1325 to $6000. However, this idea to buy a new game console and sell it quickly for a profit is not new. Everytime a new game console is released someone is benefiting from the limited quantities; it is supply and demand at it's greatest.
